Job Title: Technical Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team based in NSW North. This role will involve working with our Digital Xray and Image-Guided Therapy product portfolios, servicing Newcastle, Hunter Region, Central coast through to Northern Sydney suburbs.

This is a customer-facing role that requires maintaining and developing robust relationships with clients, providing expert technical advice on maintenance, installation, and servicing of medical equipment (software & hardware) in line with regulations and policies.

Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Collaborate with the wider organisation to provide exceptional service to customers, including corrective & preventative maintenance, commissioning & installation of equipment, and software & hardware upgrades.">
  • Participate in the sales process, providing expert technical support throughout the entire life cycle of customer relationships, from pre-sales through to implementation and post-sales support.">
  • Lead the management and support of technical escalations through to resolution, ensuring all stakeholders are continually updated on progress according to company process.">
  • Provide best-in-class service to customers with technical support, maintenance, and repairs on equipment, determining the most cost-effective repair/solution to minimize customer downtime.">

Requirements:

  • ">
  • Previous experience in customer-facing service engineering roles.">
  • Familiarity with medical equipment like Xray, IGT or Angiography is desirable, candidates from various industries welcome.">
  • Degree-level education or equivalent experience in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or experience as an Engineer in the Australian Defence Force specializing in Communications Electronics, RADAR, Instrumentation or Avionics.">
  • Restricted Electrical Licence highly regarded.">
  • Strong IT skills and ability to work in fast-paced environment.">
  • AU driver's license required and Australian working rights held.">
  • Police checks required during onboarding process.">
