Job Role

The Merchandise Planner will be responsible for working within a team that actively monitors market trends and data, collaborating with Merchants and Suppliers to forward plan and provide the right quantity replenishment recommendations.

This involves allocating products already in Australia, managing inventory distribution within the country. Key responsibilities include:

  • Working closely with Merchants to identify effective product assortment for their category
  • Supporting supplier collaboration efforts aimed at optimising in-stock and inventory objectives
  • Planning and collaborating with key cross-functional partners for trade decisions to drive sales
  • Assisting in inventory forecasts in conjunction with Merchants and Suppliers
  • Overseeing and aiding in managing stock levels
  • Conducting weekly/monthly reforecasts to identify risks, opportunities and corrective actions required to achieve revenue targets
