**Night Auditor Role at Shangri-La Cairns**

We are seeking a skilled Night Auditor to join our team at Shangri-La The Marina, Cairns, a luxury five-star hotel in the heart of Cairns.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Run the Front Desk operation, taking direction from the Night Supervisor, and ensure guest services are maintained to the Shangri-La standard.
  • Discuss current and potential issues with the outgoing GSR at the commencement of the shift and complete a shift handover.
  • Read the Reception Diary and record any information during the shift that needs to be followed up.
  • Be aware of departures and arrivals, and vacant rooms available to sell, as well as HNC reservations and early arrivals or departures.
  • Ensure all Traces are actioned or rolled onto the next day if they cannot be resolved.
  • Update Registration Cards for Check-Ins with Profiles in Fidelio to the Shangri-La standard before ending the night shift.
  • Work with the Night Supervisor to ensure hotel policies and procedures are adhered to.
  • Attend to guest needs during the night shift.
  • Carry out the Night Audit process successfully.
  • Assume other duties as assigned by the Night Supervisor and/or Front Office Manager.
