We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Generalist to join our team at Active Recruitment. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the HR manager with a variety of administrative tasks, including preparing employee contracts and leave applications, responding to staff enquiries, and liaising with payroll and managing employee records.

The ideal candidate will have current WWCC for paid employment, HR qualifications or relevant study, and experience in a school environment. They will also possess strong experience in an HR environment, solid computer literacy with MS Office, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the HR manager with administrative tasks
  • Preparing employee contracts and leave applications
  • Responding to staff enquiries
  • Liaising with payroll and managing employee records
  • Extensive internal and external reporting functions
  • Leading staff inductions and onboarding of new staff
  • Assisting with various HR projects including compliance such as WWC checks

**Requirements:**

  • Current WWCC for paid employment
  • HR qualifications or relevant study
  • Experience in a school environment
  • Strong experience in an HR environment
  • Solid computer literacy with MS Office
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
