We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Generalist to join our People & Culture team, supporting our positive, inclusive, and productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Recruitment and Selection: Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, manage end-to-end recruitment, including sourcing, screening, scheduling interviews, coordinating reference and background checks within a timely manner.
- Respond to candidate queries through our online portal and Talent inbox; responding to queries from external and internal parties.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience by providing timely updates and managing the recruitment process with professionalism.
- Support People & Culture initiatives that foster talent attraction and employee engagement.
- Help organise events, workshops, and activities that promote a collaborative and inclusive workplace culture.
- Drive continuous improvement in People & Culture processes and practices.
- Track recruitment metrics and prepare reports to assess the effectiveness of talent acquisition strategies.
- Identify and implement improvements in the recruitment process based on data and feedback.
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field desirable but not essential.
- Experience in a fast-paced office environment, demonstrated experience in recruitment, talent acquisition or HR support roles desired.
- Keen interest or experience in human resources or recruitment.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact professionally with candidates, hiring managers, and team members.
- Proficiency in HR software and recruitment platforms (e.g. Workday, LinkedIn) and Microsoft Office suite.
This is a permanent part-time position (22.8 hours per week, 3 days per week). The salary for this role is approximately $42,000 + 11.5% superannuation, prorated for part-time hours.
