As a Pest Control Technician, your primary responsibility will be to collaborate with both commercial and residential clients to ensure their environments remain free from pests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting thorough inspections of client properties for any indications of pest activity
  • Implementing necessary actions to eradicate identified pests
  • Recognizing potential sales opportunities within the service area
  • Establishing and nurturing relationships with clients while communicating about the pest management process
  • Building and sustaining long-term client partnerships

At Rentokil Initial, we provide comprehensive training; however, we require the following from you:

  • A valid Australian open/full driver's license
  • Eligibility to work full-time in Australia
  • Willingness to stay overnight in remote locations when necessary
  • A genuine interest in pest control or relevant industry experience
  • Outstanding customer service abilities to foster and enhance client relationships
  • Effective communication skills for both verbal and written interactions with clients and internal teams
  • Physical fitness and the capability to work independently while covering long distances
  • High attention to detail to uphold quality standards and meet objectives
  • Commitment to adhering to safety protocols established by both our clients and Rentokil
  • Proficiency in using mobile applications and tablets for service management
