We are seeking a skilled Investigator to join our team in a challenging and dynamic role. As an Investigator, you will play a pivotal part in uncovering breaches of legislation and ensuring compliance.

As an Investigator, you will conduct investigations in relation to matters raised under legislation administered by Consumer Protection. You will provide advice on investigations, offences and non-compliance matters, analysing complaints and gathering evidence from relevant sources.

You will assess the information received to identify potential offences or instances of non-compliance under applicable laws. Additionally, you will prepare high quality, factual written material in the form of letters, briefing notes, and investigation reports in line with Departmental standards.

To be eligible for appointment, applicants must have a valid working visa or be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa to live and work indefinitely in Australia.
