**About the Role**

We are seeking an experienced Corporate Tax Specialist to join our team at ASC. As a key member of our Group Tax Function, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of all tax compliance activities prepared for the ASC Group in Australia and overseas jurisdictions.

The successful candidate will have strong income tax compliance and tax effect accounting skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. You will also have experience with Big 4 or mid-tier accounting firms, with a focus on corporate tax.

ASC is a Government Business Enterprise (GBE) and has recently been selected as the Australian Government's Sovereign Submarine Partner. We work in an environment that is interesting and meaningful, with a deep purpose that we can all be proud of.

About the Role

  • Assist with the delivery of all tax compliance activities prepared for the ASC Group in Australia and overseas jurisdictions.
  • Support the Group Tax Manager to drive continuous improvement of the Group Tax Function.
  • Provide accurate and timely ad-hoc tax advice as required by the Group Tax Manager.
  • Partner with key stakeholders across the broader ASC business to provide insights and advice on tax implications for the business.

About You

  • You'll ideally have Big 4 or mid-tier accounting firm experience with a focus on corporate tax.
  • You'll hold CA / CPA certification.
  • A Graduate Diploma of Taxation / Professional Membership in the Taxation Institute of Australia would be highly regarded.
  • Strong income tax compliance and tax effect accounting skills.
  • Effective time management and prioritisation skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

What We Offer

  • A salary package of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience.
