Job Description

We are seeking a part-time IT Support Officer to join our team and support our growing commercial construction business. This flexible role is ideal for a student eager to apply their knowledge while learning on the job.

The successful candidate will provide Level 1 technical support to staff across hardware, software, and mobile devices. They will also assist with onboarding/offboarding, account setup, and user access management.

Other key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining accurate records of IT assets, warranties, and purchases.
  • Assisting with basic training and creating documentation for common IT issues.
  • Helping maintain systems, performing updates, and monitoring performance.
  • Supporting network infrastructure, wireless connectivity, and mobile service management.
  • Contributing to data security efforts, including audits, incident reporting, and compliance.
  • Supporting IT projects and collaborating with the ICT team to implement solutions.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will have strong communication and problem-solving skills with a staff-focused approach. You will also have experience in a similar IT support or help desk role or currently studying IT or related field.

Familiarity with Windows environments, mobile device management, and basic networking is essential. You will also need to be able to manage multiple tasks and work both independently and as part of a team.

A current driver's license is required for occasional hardware deliveries and site visits.
