Early Childhood Education Opportunity
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated professional to join our team as an Early Childhood Teacher. This role is responsible for providing high-quality care and education to young children, promoting their physical, emotional, and cognitive development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Built positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Ensure the health, safety, and wellbeing of all children in your care by maintaining accurate records and adhering to relevant policies and procedures.
- Maintain up-to-date records of children's development and progress, using this information to inform program planning and delivery.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training to enhance teaching skills and stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
- Plan and implement high-quality, developmentally appropriate programs for children in your care, incorporating activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive growth.
- Provide leadership and guidance to other educators in the centre, supporting them in their roles and contributing to a positive team culture.
Requirements:
- A commitment to providing high-quality care and education for children, demonstrated through experience and qualifications.
- Ability to work as part of a team, collaborate with colleagues, and provide leadership to others.
- Current First Aid, CPR, and Anaphylaxis certifications, or willingness to obtain these within a specified timeframe.
- Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent qualification, such as a Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Experience working in a childcare setting, preferably in a similar role.
- Knowledge of child development, learning, and behaviour management theories and practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with children, families, and colleagues.
