Job Description:

The Assistant Principal, Disability Inclusion and Curriculum, will be a key member of the school's leadership team. They will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of inclusive education practices that support students with disabilities.

  • Develop and implement the school's disability inclusion plan to ensure equal access to education for all students
  • Work closely with teachers and other staff to provide professional learning and coaching on inclusive education practices
  • Collaborate with the Department of Education and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with disability inclusion policies and guidelines
  • Provide guidance and support to students with disabilities and their families

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Outstanding educational leadership skills
  • Experience in leading and managing change
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to motivate and develop staff
  • Strong understanding of disability inclusion principles and practices

The successful candidate will be registered or eligible for registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching and demonstrate a commitment to the values of the Department of Education.

Requirements:
