Job Overview

This Support Care Specialist role is a fantastic opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of elderly individuals and their families in NSW.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide social support, personal care, medication management, meal preparation, and light domestic assistance to clients within their own homes.
  • Deliver a restorative and wellness approach to enable older adults to remain independent and engaged with their community.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • A genuine passion for supporting elderly individuals and a proven track record of making a positive difference in their lives.
  • Exceptional time management skills and the ability to work autonomously, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Availability between daytime work hours, approximately 20 hours across at least three days (Monday to Friday), with flexibility to take occasional fill-in shifts.
  • A minimum Cert III qualification in Aged Care/Community Care/Individual Support (or equivalent qualifications) and a current First Aid & CPR Certificate.
  • A current Open Drivers Licence and reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
  • A National Police Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
