Key Role Responsibilities

A proactive and passionate Health & Safety Business Partner will join our national Health and Safety team to support operational leaders on risk management. The successful candidate will build operational teams' health & safety capacity by providing specialist health & safety advice, support, and coaching.

Core Accountabilities:
  • Support operational leaders on risk management and compliance measures reviewed.
  • Build operational teams' health & safety capacity through specialist advice, support, and coaching.
  • Facilitate and manage incident response and subsequent analysis and learnings.
  • Ensure Assurance Audits are completed in line with the Audit and Assurance Program and monitor closeout of WHS actions.
Requirements:
  • A proactive approach with a willingness and commitment to partnering with operational teams.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, ideally with strong skills in incident investigations and facilitating learnings from incidents.
  • Cert IV or Diploma in Work Health & Safety, with a focus on high-risk, industrial environments.
  • Superior interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence, and communication skills with a natural ability to build solid relationships.
