Job Role

The Senior Oracle Database Administrator position involves overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of Oracle databases. This encompasses technical expertise in Oracle Exadata, administration on Exadata different rack version environments, and knowledge in designing and implementing multi-node RAC DB along with standby databases.

  • Must have extensive work experience with the latest Oracle Database version 19C
  • Expertise in GoldenGate with single-handed issue-solving capability
  • Experience on different types of Data Guards (LDG, ODG & ADG)
  • Expert knowledge on Performance tuning

This role is responsible for:

  • Serving business teams alongside IT operations team members
  • Performing root cause analysis on persistent or major database-related problems
  • Conducting database Refresh activities
  • Performing database patching activities
  • Providing accurate timelines for specific tasks assigned
  • Offering end-user support, especially during Month-end close
  • Continuing Service Improvements

Desirable skills include:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in gathering and assessing requirements from functional business owners
  • Experience with the Service-Now(Snow) tool for service management

This is a full-time position with an emphasis on continuous improvement and growth within the organization.
