The Role
Our client is currently on the lookout for a Senior Oracle Database Administrator to be responsible for the design, deployment and maintenance of Oracle databases. You will optimise the environments for analysis and leverage their proficiency in various ICT systems, services, coding languages and databases to develop enterprise data solutions.

Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years designing and deploying Oracle databases
  • Experience with Linux / UNIX / Windows
  • Familiarity with Oracle database technologies - Solaris, SPARC, Exadata, GoldenGate
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues in Oracle databases
  • Experience in Oracle upgrade and maintenance activities
  • Experience in scripting languages such as SQL, PL/SWL, Unix Shell Scripting
  • Experience in backup activities and technologies such as EMC Networker
  • Experience with SQL/Postgres Databases advantageous
  • Secure ongoing role with a guaranteed conversion to permanent

The Role
