About this Senior Database Administrator Role

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Database Administrator to design, implement and maintain high-availability and disaster recovery solutions for our enterprise database infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Oracle database administration, including experience with Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and GoldenGate replication.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Designing HA and DR Solutions: Design high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) solutions for PaaS services such as Exadata, Autonomous Databases (ATP, ADW), RAC, and Data Guard.
  • Oracle Expertise: Having 5+ years of experience as a senior Oracle DBA. Installing and upgrading Oracle and RAC on Linux/AIX platforms across versions 10g, 11g, 12c, 18c, 19c.
  • Troubleshooting: Configuring and troubleshooting physical standby databases using Data Guard broker. Configuring and troubleshooting GoldenGate replication components.
  • Database Administration: Administering database objects like tables, clusters, views, procedures, etc. Understanding advanced architectures such as Multi-Node, RAC, ASM.
  • Customer Communication: Engaging with customers regarding operational issues and activities.
