Key Responsibilities

The role of Automotive Dealership Business Manager involves facilitating the sale of Finance & Insurance products, tailoring services to customer needs while ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction.

This includes monitoring and managing all F&I financial activities, including deal progress, compliance and system accuracy.

Supporting the sales team and dealership management by presenting customers with tailored, ethical finance options is also a key responsibility.

In addition, ensuring sound financial, legal, and operational practices within the F&I department, per MBFS policies, is crucial for success in this role.

Other duties include receipting deposits, assisting with vehicle payment calculations, following up on work in progress and producing invoices to ensure seamless settlement transactions.

Effective communication of policy and procedural changes to dealership staff and providing relevant F&I updates are also essential.

Finally, upholding and enhancing the professional image of Mercedes-Benz Brighton requires dedication and commitment from the successful candidate.

Requirements
  • A proven background in automotive finance and insurance is necessary for success in this role.
  • Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and customer handling skills are also essential.
  • Excellent administrative, communication, and leadership abilities are required.
  • Knowledge of MBFS Finance & Insurance products, finance contracts, compliance, and privacy laws (desirable) is highly valued.
  • Ability to read and understand financial accounts and competitor finance/insurance offerings is also important.
