Job Title: Track And Field Sport Coach Required

We are seeking an experienced Track and Field Coach to join our team at a secondary school. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality coaching sessions to students, with a focus on developing their athletic skills and promoting a love of the sport.

  • The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of coaching principles and methods, as well as experience working with children and young people.
  • They should also possess relevant qualifications and experience in Track and Field coaching, such as Level 1 or Level 2 coaching accreditation with Athletics Australia.
About This Role:

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced coach to make a positive impact on the lives of students at our school. As a Track and Field Coach, you will be responsible for:

  1. Planning and delivering coaching sessions to students in Track and Field events such as sprinting, distance running, jumping, and throwing.
  2. Developing and implementing training programs to improve athletes' performance and achieve school targets.
  3. Conducting regular assessments and evaluations to monitor athletes' progress and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Relevant qualifications and experience in Track and Field coaching.
  • Strong knowledge of coaching principles and methods.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with athletes and staff.
  • Experience working with children and young people.
  • First Aid certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Level 1 or Level 2 coaching accreditation with Athletics Australia.
  • Experience coaching at a secondary school level.
  • Knowledge of sports science and physiology.
