About the Role

Total Workfit Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Workplace Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team in Tasmania.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering holistic, client-centered services to assist injured workers in recovering at work and achieving independence in their personal and professional lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct workplace assessments and provide advice on job modifications to support injured workers in returning to work.
  • Develop and implement rehabilitation plans to promote the health and well-being of clients.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including medical professionals, employers, and insurance providers, to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Provide vocational assessments and rehabilitation counseling to support clients in achieving their employment goals.
  • Conduct ADL assessments to identify and address any functional limitations that may impact a client's ability to work.

Requirements:

  • Full registration with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency) or AASW (Australian Association of Social Workers).
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and time management skills.
  • A self-starter with a go-getter attitude, taking pride in a job well-done.
  • Ability to complete a satisfactory Working with Children Check and Police Clearance.
  • Current Australian driver's license and vehicle.
  • Willingness to learn and impact positively on people's lives in tangible ways.
  • The ability to engage clients and stakeholders in the wellness and work journey.
