About the Role

The Technical Writer will report to the Engineering Manager and work across the entire Elphinstone mining support vehicle product range.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, write, and edit technical documentation related to the operation and maintenance of Elphinstone products.
  • Ensure literature content complies with applicable standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Liaise with Mechanical and Electrical Engineers, Designers, Auto Electricians, and others to obtain relevant information for documentation.
  • Recommend engineering improvements to new and existing products when identified.
Requirements
  • Mechanical or Electrical trade qualifications or equivalent work experience.
  • Excellent writing and literacy skills, including the ability to extract and rephrase information and produce accurate, complete, and concise documentation.
  • Excellent technical knowledge and troubleshooting and methodical fault-finding skills.
  • Excellent presentation and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Adobe InDesign, Cortona3D Rapid Catalog, and Photoshop.
  • Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment (desirable).
