We are seeking an experienced professional to lead a team of valuations experts on high-profile engagements and drive business development initiatives.

About the Role

As a senior member, you will oversee valuations research, provide coaching and leadership to less experienced team members, and undertake robust valuation assessments based on best-practice financial modelling.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A relevant degree or accounting/finance professional qualification(s)
  • Significant accounting valuations experience, ideally gained within an accounting or investment firm setting
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills, with the ability to provide coaching and leadership to less experienced team members
  • An autonomous working style with a sense of ownership, personal accountability, and pride in what you do
Key Responsibilities

You will take the lead on various engagements from start to finish, including business and share valuations for tax and accounting purposes, valuations to support transactions, Independent Expert Reports and Purchase Price Allocations.

  • Lead the preparation of high-quality accounting valuation reports and advice for a range of purposes, including Independent Expert's Reports (or Fairness Opinions), Purchase Price Allocations and general business, equity and intangible asset valuations
  • Undertake robust valuation assessments based on the full range of valuation methodologies, utilising best-practice financial modelling
  • Oversee valuations research offering value-added insights into comparable companies and transactions, industry trends and market conditions
  • Drive business development initiatives and participate in activities with a focus on growing the firm's valuations practice
