Assistant Manager Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated Assistant Manager to join our team at the Surfers Paradise Beer Garden, part of ALH Hotels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop a multi-skilled team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
  • Manage day-to-day operations, including opening and closing procedures, back-of-house administration, and rostering.
  • Bring passion for good food and creating memorable moments for our guests.
  • Develop and grow the business through innovative initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Hospitality or retail leadership experience, preferably in food, bars, and gaming.
  • Ability to lead, develop, and coach a large team.
  • Operational experience to achieve financial and business targets.
  • Highly developed customer service skills.
  • Current industry RSA, RSG, RMLV, and Approved Manager qualifications.
