We are seeking a dedicated Online Safety Advocate to join our team. As an expert in developing and implementing online safety initiatives, you will be responsible for leading the development of resources and guidance for parents and carers.

The ideal candidate will have experience in:

  • Developing and delivering online safety programs and strategies
  • BUILDING PARTNERSHIPS WITH STAKEHOLDERS AND LEADING PROJECTS
  • Creating engaging content for diverse audiences
  • Evaluating programs and making data-driven decisions

You will work closely with our Children, Youth and Families (CYF) team to develop and implement a comprehensive Parent strategy, focusing on stakeholder engagement, education, and prevention.

The successful candidate will possess:

  • A deep understanding of how technology can be misused to cause harm
  • An interest in online safety issues facing Australians, particularly parents and their families
  • The ability to determine the strategic direction for the work area and align with longer-term planning and agency goals and objectives
  • High levels of personal drive and the ability to work collaboratively and lead others to achieve shared goals
