Aged Care Support Worker

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team as Home Care Support Workers at The Benevolent Society. As a valued member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of older Australians, providing personalized care and support in their own homes.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide in-home personal care, assisting with daily living activities such as showering, personal hygiene, meal preparation, house cleaning, and laundry & ironing.
- Deliver personalized care aligned with each client's unique Care Plan.
- Monitor and report any changes in the client's health or behavior.
- Work collaboratively with our team to create a positive experience for our clients.
- Provide support with transportation needs, helping with shopping trips and appointments, to empower active community participation.
- Must have a current driver's license and your own vehicle (with comprehensive insurance).
- Willingness to travel to clients' homes within the specified service locations in Tamworth.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to foster strong relationships with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Reliable, punctual, and a commitment to delivering high-quality care.
- Flexibility in working hours and approach.
- A Certificate 3, 4, or diploma in Aged Care, Home Care, Disability, or a related field.
- Experience in using mobility aids/hoisting devices is highly valued.
- A supportive and collaborative work environment.
