We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Care Support Worker to join our team at The Benevolent Society in the Tamworth region. As a Home Care Support Worker, you will provide in-home personal care and support services to older clients, helping to preserve their independence and quality of life.
- Key Responsibilities
- Provide in-home personal care, including showering, personal hygiene, meal preparation, house cleaning, and laundry & ironing.
- Deliver personalized care aligned with each client's unique Care Plan.
- Monitor and report any changes in the client's health or behavior.
- Work collaboratively with the team to create a positive experience for clients.
- Support clients with transportation needs, including shopping trips and appointments.
- Requirements
- A current driver's license and a reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
- Willingness to travel to clients' homes within the specified service locations in Tamworth.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to foster strong relationships with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Reliable and punctual, with a commitment to delivering high-quality care.
- A Certificate 3, 4, or diploma in Aged Care, Home Care, Disability, or a related field.
- Experience in using mobility aids/hoisting devices is highly valued.
