Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Corporate Events Manager/Operational Coordinator - Northern Territory to join our team in the Northern Territory division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operations of our NT office and coordinating our events program to deliver quality experiences for members, stakeholders, and attendees.

Job Description:
  • Operational Support: Assist the Division General Manager and Deputy General Manager NT in building the impact, brand, and membership of Engineers Australia through the implementation of an activity plan and stakeholder engagement plan.
  • Event Coordination: Lead the division in event coordination and delivery, including member events, recognition, technical presentations, networking, local school engagement, committee-led events, and related media and communications in collaboration with the professional development team.
  • Administrative Support: Provide operational support to the Division General Manager and Deputy General Manager NT, including administration, marketing, and facilities management.
  • Ambassador Role: Operate as an ambassador for Engineers Australia and lead or participate in events and functions.
Requirements:
  • Initiative and Accountability: Demonstrate initiative and accountability, with the ability to organize and prioritize work, garner resources, and deliver required outputs while tackling multiple tasks.
  • Technical Skills: Have a good understanding of technology, able to learn new software, and assist/teach others navigating various IT and AV technology.
  • Relationship Building: Build relationships with a wide variety of people, internally and externally, and deliver operational plans.
  • Event Experience: Have experience organizing and delivering quality events.
