We are seeking a highly skilled Defence Project Manager to lead our strategic programmes and deliver high-quality solutions. As a Defence Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing projects that meet timelines, budgets, and safety standards.
About the Role
As a Defence Project Manager, you will be at the forefront of managing projects that deliver high-quality solutions. You will engage with stakeholders, coordinate with technical teams, and oversee the planning, execution, and completion of Defence projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and uphold safety, quality, and compliance standards across all project activities
- Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, maintaining risk matrices and forecasting
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to meet project needs and drive efficient processes
- Liaise with Engineering, Production, and Procurement teams to ensure seamless project execution
- Manage project milestones, oversee contract deliverables, and handle customer claims as needed
Requirements
- Experience as a Project Manager in Defence or similar industries
- A good understanding of the engineering process
- Strong project planning, coordination, and risk management skills
- Knowledge of ISO9001 standards is highly valued
- Exceptional communication and team collaboration abilities
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to shifting priorities
