Job Title: Performance And Development Nursing And Midwifery Workforce Manager

The Royal Hospital for Women is a leading centre for the care of mothers, babies, and women with benign gynaecological and gynae-oncology conditions.

Workforce Management Role

This role involves coordinating the recruitment of nursing, midwifery, and frontline clerical staff. The successful candidate will work closely with senior management to ensure that contemporary human resource practices are utilised to maintain an appropriately skilled workforce.

The ideal candidate will have a postgraduate management qualification or extensive clinical and management experience, as well as demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills. They will also possess high-level problem-solving and interpersonal skills, as well as knowledge of contemporary Human Resource policies and practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the recruitment process for permanent, temporary, and casual nursing, midwifery, and frontline clerical staff.
  • Maintain accurate records of staff registrations and documentation.
Selection Criteria:
  • Registered Nurse and/or Registered Midwife with current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulatory Authority.
  • Postgraduate management qualification or extensive clinical and management experience.
  • Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • High-level problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of contemporary Human Resource policies and practices.
