We are seeking a qualified and adaptable Social Worker to join our team in the acute hospital setting. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain experience working in a multi-disciplinary environment with a wide variety of patients.

About the Role:

  • Complete psychosocial assessments and provide emotional support and counseling to patients and their families and/or carers.\
  • Dedicated leave cover position, ensuring clinical care in periods of staff leave.\
  • You will be supported by team leaders and clinical leads on site.\
  • Contribute to a dynamic and progressive Social Work team and foster positive team and workplace culture.\

About You:

  • \
  • Qualified Social Worker (current member or eligibility for AASW).\
  • Work experience as a hospital Social Worker.\
  • Adaptable quick learner able to work autonomously in hospital environments.\
  • Deliver excellent consumer-focussed clinical care to patients and their carers.\
  • Mentor and supervise junior staff and students.\
\
