About the Role

The Senior Lecturer in Psychology will contribute to teaching and research within the Psychology Discipline. This role involves academic supervision of students undertaking research, as well as the development and implementation of innovative teaching methods that align with contemporary practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement high-quality teaching materials and practices.
  • Contribute to the student experience in programs as required, including course convening, unit convening, and industry relationships.
  • Participate in professional development activities and undertake scholarly review of teaching methods and practices.
  • Identify, assess, prioritize, and control risks to the health and safety of staff, students, visitors, and contractors to the environment arising from the operation of the area under their responsibility.
Requirements

You will be expected to hold a PhD in Psychology and have experience teaching at the tertiary level. A commitment to excellence and innovation in curriculum development and delivery is essential. A demonstrated record of peer-reviewed publications and/or successful funding at the national or international level is also required.
