The Role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Swimming Teacher to join our team at Belgravia Leisure. As a Swimming Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality swimming lessons to our members, focusing on effective swimming and water safety techniques.

You will work closely with our team to develop and implement swimming programs that cater to diverse age groups, abilities, and needs. Your excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with children will be essential in creating a positive and engaging learning environment.

We are looking for someone who is energetic, dynamic, and fun, with a passion for swimming and making children safer around water. If you have a flair for working with children and a commitment to customer service excellence, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality swimming lessons to members of all ages and abilities
  • Develop and implement swimming programs that cater to diverse needs
  • Work effectively with children and adults to create a positive learning environment
  • Communicate effectively with members, parents, and colleagues to ensure excellent customer service
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of swimming programs and initiatives
Requirements
  • Current First Aid (Level 2) and Current CPR Certificate
  • Working With Children Check (or equivalent) and National Police Check
  • Current AUSTSWIM Certificate – Teaching of Swimming and Water Safety (or equivalent)
  • AUSTSWIM Teacher of Infant and Preschool Aquatics (Desirable)
  • AUSTSWIM Teacher of Aquatics Access and Inclusion (Desirable)
  • Previous experience and success in a comparable role is highly regarded
  • ASCTA qualification also being accepted
