**Job Description**

We are seeking an experienced Education Program Director to lead our Vocational Education and Training (VET) programs.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of our VET programs, including developing and maintaining strategic partnerships with external providers. They will also oversee the joint management of a trade training centre and provide expert advice and support to students, staff, and families regarding VET and post-school options.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage VET programs, ensuring high-quality outcomes and compliance with accreditation and reporting requirements
  • Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with external providers, including industry bodies and community organisations
  • Oversee the joint management of a trade training centre, ensuring program delivery and quality assurance
  • Provide expert advice and support to students, staff, and families regarding VET and post-school options
  • Promote VET programs across the school and broader community

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated leadership experience in VET or senior secondary schooling
  • High-level understanding of VET curriculum, policy, accreditation, and reporting requirements
  • Proven ability to foster effective partnerships with stakeholders
  • Strong data literacy and experience using educational data to inform program development and reporting
  • Demonstrated experience in identifying and securing external funding opportunities

Eligibility:

  • Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident, or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment
  • Hold registration with the Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia
  • Obtain a valid Working With Children Check before starting
  • Consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education's Screening Unit before starting
