Collaborate with our dedicated leadership team, forge respectful and reciprocal relationships with families, and actively engage with the local community networks.
In this role, you will
Support the Centre Director in the leadership of the team to provide high-quality early learning and care
Mentor and build capabilities within the centre team
Be responsible for the overall management of the centre in the Centre Director's absence
Use and implement the Goodstart Practice Guide
About Goodstart Bertram
Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Bertram is located in a safe but convenient area, close to schools and shops as well as transport routes and community services. We have a dedicated team of qualified educators who provide a quality early learning program in all environments. All our rooms - from Nursery to Kindergarten / Preschool - have qualified group leaders who lead their team of assistants. Currently, we are seeking a part time (30 hours/4 days a week) Early Childhood Teacher. Our educators pride themselves on creating programs that give children a strong sense of identity and well-being to become confident and involved learners. They acknowledge that children learn in a variety of ways and vary in their capabilities and pace of learning and we'd like you to join us.

You'll need
A Diploma or bachelor's in early childhood education
Hold a current Working with Children Check, or be willing to obtain one
Experience with leading and managing change within education, health or community services
Experience in delivering integrated early childhood services in areas of disadvantage
Proven commercial acumen with financial and operational performance management
