The Opportunity

Experienced audit professionals are sought to assist clients in preparing accurate financial statements and providing insights into accounting and reporting issues. Key Responsibilities
  • Manage audit processes, considering risk issues and technical accounting matters such as revenue, financial instruments, and income taxes.
  • Engage with clients, offering advice and maintaining professionalism throughout transactions, and identify areas for process improvements.
  • Develop an understanding of market trends and share knowledge to mentor junior colleagues.
  • Coach and mentor team members, and keep engagement leaders informed on audit progress.
  • Understand clients' unique needs and refer them to other teams to expand business relationships.
Requirements
  • Proven experience delivering external audits and assurance engagements in the financial services industry.
  • Experience leading audit planning, execution, and reporting.
  • Strong client relationship skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and collaborative management skills.
  • Degree and progress toward or completion of CPA/CA ANZ or equivalent qualifications.

Ideal candidates will also have experience with IFRS accounting frameworks and related financial reporting.
