The role of the Compliance Specialist plays a vital part in ensuring effective oversight of contractual obligations through rigorous auditing and reporting activities.
Compliance Specialists are responsible for coordinating and supporting the development, planning, and delivery of audit programs and frameworks to ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program Management: Oversee risk-based audit and compliance programs, establishing best practice frameworks
- Strategy Development: Prepare audit scopes, briefs, and related activities within broad parameters, aligning with contractual requirements
- Investigation and Analysis: Undertake complex investigations and make recommendations for action based on findings around contractor compliance
- Reporting and Communication: Draft reports, briefs, and correspondence on complex issues by monitoring, interpreting, and analyzing compliance data
- Advice and Support: Interpret and apply contract terms and related plans and policies, conveying specialist concepts and policies to stakeholders
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring that appropriate governance, justification, documentation, and record keeping for changes to work programs are aligned with operator agreements and other related documents
Requirements:
- Relevant qualification and/or experience in auditing, contract management, and/or assurance (mandatory)
- Competency in reporting, data analysis, and presentation (mandatory)
- Sound understanding and application of advanced analytical tools such as Power BI, Microsoft Excel (mandatory)
- Strong working knowledge of electronic document record management systems including Content Manager, Outlook, TRIM, Affinitext, and Lotus Notes (mandatory)
