We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Accountant to join our team.
This role offers the opportunity to work closely with our Financial Controller and Dealership Accountant, gaining hands-on experience across a variety of accounting functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Assisting in the preparation of monthly Profit & Loss statements
Managing floorplan reconciliations, payments, and audits
Supporting the year-end audit process
Preparing monthly and weekly reports
Conducting balance sheet reconciliations
Maintaining the fixed asset register
Performing bank and credit card reconciliations
Reconciling manufacturer retail and fleet claims
Requirements:
Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
Strong written and verbal communication abilities
Excellent problem-solving and time management skills
A team-oriented mindset with a strong work ethic
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent experience
Automotive industry knowledge (desired but not essential)
