Senior Claims Officer Financial Lines - Vero

\About the Role

Take your claims management skills to the next level with a challenging and rewarding role at Vero.

\Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively manage a diverse portfolio of complex/sensitive/high risk Financial Lines claims end to end
  • Provide specialist technical advice to claims staff on policy coverage, liability, quantum, strategy and reserving
  • Appoint and manage external service providers including External Legal Panel
  • Maintain claim reserves in a timely manner in accordance with reserving guidelines and practices
  • Provide underwriters and claims manager with feedback from issues or risk deficiencies identified during claims management and develop own technical industry knowledge
  • Contribute to the development of market profile through superior claims service to targeted market segment
\Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience within Financial Lines/ Professional Indemnity Claims (Minimum 3-4 years experience)
  • Prior experience mentoring claims staff in technical claims roles
  • Tertiary qualifications in law, business or insurance would be highly regarded
