About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cost Specialist, Institutional to join our team. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a critical role in driving continuous improvement of cost processes, ensuring the optimization of controls, management of risks, and governance obligations are met on a continuous basis.

You will work closely with our Cost Co E process experts to build a first-class capability in finance, focusing on best practice cost management and consistency of implementation across all divisions. Your primary responsibility will be to manage the monthly financial close process for line of business costs, including finalization of actuals, P&C, and driver-based analytical review.

You will also be responsible for owning and running line of business Cost Models used to facilitate Planning and Forecasting/Outlook processes. Under the guidance of our Divisional Insight Business Partners, you will develop and maintain relationships with business stakeholders required to execute your responsibilities.

As a Cost Specialist, Institutional, you will contribute to the expansion of knowledge and end-to-end capabilities across the Cost Co E. You will maintain cost financial integrity and meet cost-related statutory obligations for the Australia geography.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the monthly financial close process for line of business costs
  • Own and run line of business Cost Models used to facilitate Planning and Forecasting/Outlook processes
  • Develop and maintain relationships with business stakeholders
