About the Role

KBR's Government Solutions Land Domain is seeking a skilled Cost Estimation Specialist to join their team in Melbourne.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring costs are managed efficiently and potential risks are identified, evaluated, and mitigated.

Using Defence's Automated Cost Estimating Integrated Tools (ACEIT), they will develop and maintain detailed cost models that accurately predict the financial requirements of projects or operations, assessing the impact of potential changes, and guide decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Forecasting, controls, and reporting project costs across all phases of the CASG Capability Lifecycle
  • Developing and maintaining detailed cost models using ACEIT
  • Assessing the impact of potential changes and guiding decision-making processes
  • Managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders
  • Providing effective solutions to mitigate risks and control costs

Requirements

  • Knowledge and experience within the defence industry
  • Strong ability to analyse financial data and build accurate cost models
  • Proficiency in financial modelling, cost estimation tools, and risk management software
  • Active Negative Vetting 1 (NV-1) Security Clearance
