Role Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead monthly and year-end group consolidations in line with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), including intercompany eliminations and adjustments.
  • Prepare and submit statutory financial statements for group and subsidiary entities, ensuring they meet GAAP standards.
  • Coordinate external audits, acting as primary point of contact for auditors.
  • Maintain integrity of general ledger and chart of accounts.
Tax & Regulatory Compliance
  • Develop and review corporate income tax returns, fringe benefits tax (FBT), and business activity statements (BAS) for Australian entities in partnership with external tax advisors.
  • Calculate and record monthly and year-end tax provisions, including deferred tax and tax effect accounting under GAAP.
  • Assist in transfer pricing documentation and ensure compliance with ATO requirements.
Process Improvement & Systems
  • Identify opportunities to enhance financial reporting and tax processes, including automation and system upgrades.
  • Strengthen internal financial controls and procedures to support business objectives.
