Financial Reporting Specialist

We're looking for a highly skilled and experienced Financial Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial reporting and technical accounting, with experience in preparing consolidated monthly management accounts, board papers, and statutory ASX quarterly, half-year and full-year reports.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare consolidated monthly management accounts, including board papers, and statutory ASX quarterly, half-year and full-year reports.
- Provide accounting and regulatory guidance in compliance with IFRS (and AASB) and local regulatory standards.
- Prepare monthly journals and balance sheet reconciliations relating to technical accounting issues.
- Support coordination of the audit process and act as a point of contact with auditors.
- Assist in providing the Board and Senior Executives with consolidated financial results, including variance analysis commentary to support decision-making.
- CA/CPA qualification, with a degree in Accounting, Commerce or Finance essential.
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience in financial reporting and technical accounting, preferably in an ASX listed company, Big 4, or mid-tier accounting firm auditing ASX listed companies.
- Experience in preparing management reporting, Board papers and statutory ASX quarterly, half-year and full-year reporting.
- Sound knowledge of accounting standards (AASB/IFRS).
