Strategic Logistics Governance Manager

As a Logistics Governance Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing corporate governance and logistics assurance activities within the Joint Logistics Unit (West). Your key responsibilities will include managing complex logistic compliance and assurance tasks in an integrated workforce, while also engaging with stakeholders on a regular basis.
This role demands excellent communication skills, as you will be the primary point of contact for unit Command on all systems and governance requirements. You will lead and manage a Governance team responsible for audit testing of corporate governance requirements, including support to audit programs and remediation activities.
The successful candidate will possess:
- Experience working in a similar role ensuring the alignment of governance, risk, and compliance frameworks;
- Experience in enterprise resource planning and core business processes in an integrated system;
- Well-developed organisational skills with the ability to set priorities and meet deadlines;
- Demonstrated high level verbal and written communication skills, especially in preparing responses to correspondence, briefs and reports for management;
- Demonstrated ability to build and sustain effective relationships with team members and key stakeholders;
- A strong commitment to the provision of innovative and workable solutions in the promotion of logistics best practice.
