Job Description

We are a dynamic and inclusive school community, dedicated to providing high-quality education for our students.

Our school has a rich history of offering academic, sporting, and cultural programs that cater to the diverse needs of our students. With 920 students, including 43 Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander and 27 EAL/D students, we pride ourselves on creating a supportive and welcoming environment for all.

Our student body comprises 38 classes, including 3 support classes that are integral to our school's vision. We emphasize inclusion and student well-being, recognizing the importance of individual learning and connection with families to design aspirational learning pathways for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students.

General Selection Criteria
  1. We require teaching experience with the capacity to initiate improvement in teaching, learning, and classroom practice.
  2. Candidates should possess knowledge of curriculum, assessment, and student welfare, with the ability to lead and design quality teaching and learning programs.
  3. Educational leadership skills to build capacity and manage performance are essential, as is the ability to communicate effectively and engage stakeholders.
  4. Effective resource management and planning are also critical to supporting teaching and learning.
  5. Candidates should be familiar with and committed to the Department's Aboriginal education policies.
