Employment Type: 12 Month Fixed Term Contract - Part Time 16 hours a week – 2 days.
Pay: $38.20 to $43.55 per hour plus Super

Responsibilities
  • As a Senior Educator at Goodstart, you\'ll take charge of your own room, leading a team of dedicated Educators to deliver exceptional educational programs. You\'ll collaborate with the Centre Leadership Team and the Educational Leader to observe, inform, and continuously improve teaching practices. Your commitment to safety and inclusivity ensures that every learning experience is tailored to meet the needs of all children.
  • Lead a team of Educators to achieve better outcomes for children during their crucial developmental years.
About Goodstart Broadmeadow
  • Key Educator Approach: Educators build strong, secure attachments by working closely with a small group of children, promoting consistent relationships and supporting individual development. Goodstart Broadmeadow is a rated Exceeding National Quality Standards centre.
  • Safe and Supportive Environment: Goodstart Early Learning Broadmeadow is based close to shops and community facilities in Newcastle CBD.
  • Individualized Curriculum: The centre follows the Early Years Learning Framework and uses platforms like Storypark to tailor programs to each child\'s needs, interests, and strengths.

You\'ll Need
  • Diploma in Early Childhood (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
  • Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
  • Current NSW Working with Children Check
