Underground Drilling Assistant

As a key member of our underground drilling team, you will play a vital role in assisting the Driller and contributing to the success of our operations.
">Job Description
">The successful applicant will be responsible for handling inner tubes, retrieving core, and emptying it into core trays. They will also perform repetitive heavy lifting of over 20kg, maintain equipment, and ensure all workspaces are clean. Additionally, they must identify and rectify potential hazards and communicate with the Driller or Supervisor immediately.
">Required Skills and Qualifications
">To be considered for this role, applicants must possess a current Australian manual driver's license, National Police Clearance (within 3 months of issue), and clear ability to speak, read, and write fluent English. A proactive attitude towards safety and hazard identification is essential, as well as the ability to perform shift work and be away from home for two weeks at a time.

">A Working at Heights Certificate and First Aid Certificate are highly desirable, as well as previous experience in labour-intensive physical roles and exploration drilling operations. However, these are not essential requirements.
