Health Support Services Receptionist Role

About the Job:

This role is responsible for managing patient bookings and schedules with accuracy and efficiency. You will be the first point of contact for patients and play an important role in creating a positive, welcoming experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage patient bookings and schedules with accuracy and efficiency
  • Answer incoming calls and make outbound calls in a professional manner
  • Collaborate with clinic management to ensure smooth daily operations
  • Open and close the clinic according to procedures
  • Provide general clinic support and assist with ad-hoc administrative tasks
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and patient-friendly reception area

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will also need to be able to stay calm and professional in a fast-paced clinic environment. Prior experience in a healthcare, allied health, or medical reception role is highly regarded.
