**Expert Electrical Professional Wanted**

We are seeking an experienced electrical engineer to provide expert advice across electrical infrastructure, solar PV systems, energy storage, and sustainable design solutions.

This is a client-facing, hands-on technical role where you'll work on impactful projects across healthcare, defence, education, and government sectors. Some national travel will be required to support site inspections and project delivery.

As a key member of our sustainability and engineering services team, you will:

  • Lead and approve electrical design documentation, grid connection applications, and contractor installations.
  • Conduct inspections, signoffs, and manage compliance checks for electrical and solar PV systems.
  • Undertake audits and energy assessments for commercial and industrial buildings to identify savings and improve efficiency.
  • Develop and oversee energy management plans and upgrade projects for a diverse portfolio of assets.
  • Engage directly with clients to provide solutions, drive energy savings, and uncover new business opportunities.
  • Ensure technical excellence, quality assurance, and compliance across all deliverables.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Chartered status (CPEng) and NER registration.
  • Professional affiliations and certifications (e.g., NABERS, Green Star, WELL AP) are highly desirable.

Desirable Experience:

  • 5+ years in the building services sector (consultancy or contractor experience preferred).
  • Solid understanding of the National Construction Code of Australia.
  • Proven success in energy audits, asset condition assessments, and solar/renewable projects.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate and lead in a multidisciplinary environment.
  • Proficient in using AutoCAD to develop and modify electrical design and construction drawings.
