Job Description

The role involves leading and developing team members, building relationships, becoming a trusted business advisor, delivering real-time results, building new opportunities, and driving continuous improvement. You will provide proactive, commercially driven business, tax, and strategic advice tailored to client needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and develop team members: Ensure your team members achieve client outcomes while building their own capability and adding value to their clients.
  • Build relationships: Establish and nurture trusted partnerships with clients, colleagues, and team members to drive collaboration and long-term success.
  • Become a trusted business advisor: Provide expert advice on commercial, tax, and strategic matters.
  • Deliver real-time results: Deliver accurate and timely financial reporting, ensuring key deadlines and expectations are consistently met.
  • Build new opportunities: Play an active role supporting business development through identifying opportunities within your client group and preparing proposals.
  • Drive continuous improvement: Lead initiatives that enhance team performance and continuously evolve the Business Advisory service offering.
Requirements:
  • A Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) or a related degree, plus CA, CPA, or equivalent professional qualifications.
  • A deep understanding of accounting and tax, including income tax, CGT, FBT, GST, payroll tax, Division 7A, transfer pricing, accounting principles, consolidations, tax-effect accounting, and small business concessions.
  • Exceptional business acumen to deliver value-add advice and meet key performance indicators.
  • A client-centric approach with the proven ability to collaborate across divisions and deliver an exceptional end-to-end client experience.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of mentoring, managing, and inspiring teams to exceed expectations.
