Job Opportunity

The position of Sports Competition Coordinator has become available for the Alice Springs Masters Games. This role is responsible for overseeing all elements of sport competition and operations.

Key aspects of the job include marketing efforts, recognition initiatives, and ensuring competitions run smoothly, safely, and to a high standard.

The successful candidate will be a key member of the event team, providing frontline event support and maintaining strong communication with stakeholders and the Games workforce.

The Alice Springs Masters Games is Australia's longest-running Masters sporting event, bringing together thousands of participants aged 30 and over to compete across a wide variety of sports in Central Australia.

To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrated event management skills, as well as strong customer service and communication skills, with experience working with the public.

You will also possess high-level administration skills, the ability to adapt to new software programs, and hold a current valid NT drivers' licence and first aid certificate or be able to obtain one.

  • Demonstrated event management skills with sound knowledge of local area marketing.
  • Ability to work within a team whilst managing individual workload with proven ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills with experience working with the public.
  • High-level administration skills and ability to adapt to new software programs.
  • Current valid NT drivers' licence, and first aid certificate or ability to obtain.
About You

This role offers an attractive salary package, 12% superannuation, 6 weeks recreation leave, 3 weeks personal leave, and up to $1,724 annual leave loading.
