Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Portfolio Manager to lead and manage our portfolio of projects within the utilities sector, including transmission, substation, and distribution projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing large-scale programs, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in project management roles within the utilities sector, particularly in commercial consulting and program management. They will also possess strong program and account management skills, excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, and a proven track record of team leadership and talent acquisition.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Management: Lead and oversee a portfolio of transmission, substation, and distribution projects for public and investor-owned utilities.
  • Manage large-scale programs, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations are met.
  • Develop recovery plans to mitigate risks and maintain stakeholder-approved project parameters.
  • Monitor program performance using dashboards, KPIs, and other tracking tools.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Extensive experience in project management roles within the utilities sector.
  • Strong program and account management skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Proven track record of team leadership and talent acquisition.
  • Deep expertise in commercial consulting within the transmission and distribution (T&D) utility industry.
